Alert - Disaster Management App
Alert is a Disaster management android application. It connects to an electronic device using the SMS service. The electronic device is has smoke and gas detectors and whenever it detects gas leakage or smoke it send out an SMS. This SMS is sent to the user on which the Alert app is downloaded. The android app detects the SMS and raises alarm displaying the message recieved.

I developed the app by testing it using the Android Device Monitor feature of the Android Studio.The android app responds to message recieved from the encoded number, making use of the SMS Manager service in android.
In case of mishap the user is prompted to take action to prevent further damage.
